Our Campaign
We are the School and Community Committee from Medford Memorial School’s Student Council, and we are extremely concerned about speeding in Medford Township. Our campaign is designed to make drivers of all ages realize that speeding is very dangerous and has disastrous consequences. We hope our slogan, “Students Say Stop Speeding”, will soon be known by all drivers, young and old, in Medford. Our mascot is Slowpoke the snake, Pokey for Short.

There’s No Need to Speed

Speeding is a horrible choice. Not only do you risk getting a ticket, but also you are endangering your passengers and just about every person on the road, including yourself! You save virtually no time by speeding but can change lives FOREVER!

We students believe that speeding is not a solution, but rather a serious problem. We students cannot drive yet, but you do. You are able to make a choice which will save hundreds of lives. Please slow down for all of our sakes.

Ways you can help:

  • Don’t speed
  • Leave earlier for your destination so you don’t have to speed
  • Set a good example by teaching new drivers the dangers of speeding
  • Join our campaign
