HURRICANE ISABEL

At 4:00PM, Thursday, September 18, 2003 Governor James McGreevey issued an Executive Order declaring a State of Emergency for the entire State of New Jersey. The scope of the Emergency declaration is administrative in nature. This enables the Governor to call upon the New Jersey National Guard and other State agencies in the event they are needed anywhere in the State.

There is no ban on travel, and no closure of public buildings is planned.
The Medford Township Office of Emergency Management is closely monitoring storm conditions.
